Rasulullah s.a.w. meningkatkan darjat wanita
I just got home from attending the above-titled ceramah, held at Pandan Gardens. The speaker was Ustaz Azmi (?background).
It was very enlightening, especially when he discussed the qualities and responsibilities of women, and how the Islamic rules and treatment of women are suited to such. One part that’s stuck in my mind was that the Prophet, p.b.u.h, was reported to have said:
Dunia ini suatu perhiasan; dan sebaik-baik perhiasan di muka bumi ini ialah wanita yang solehah. [Emphasis added]
Ponder that.
